Low self‑esteem is among the most destructive forces against women’s wellbeing — Sarah Martins

Nollywood actress and entrepreneur Sarah Martins has expressed her support for women who choose to undergo body enhancement procedures, emphasizing that such decisions can significantly boost their confidence and self-esteem. In an interview with Potpourri, Martins stated that women should have the freedom to make choices about their bodies, especially if those choices empower them.

She remarked, “It’s their body! Nothing harms women more than low self-esteem. If getting your body done will give you the confidence you need as a woman to grow and succeed, then go ahead and do it!”

Although Martins is comfortable with her own physique, she wouldn’t dismiss the idea of plastic surgery in the future. “I have a beautiful and perfect body as a body magic aesthetician, but if I feel the need to consider plastic surgery down the line, I will gladly do it,” she shared.

Beyond her acting career, Martins revealed that she has established multiple businesses and does not rely solely on acting for her financial needs. She described acting as a “side hustle,” emphasising that entrepreneurship plays a major role in her professional life.

“Acting is not paying my bills. I’ve always been a very hardworking entrepreneur with many streams of income,” she said.

According to her, her business interests include a body contour spa, the manufacture of waist trainers and the production of body enhancement and sex enhancement products. Martins’ entrepreneurial ventures, she explained, have given her multiple sources of income while allowing her to pursue acting alongside her business interests.

On relationships, the actress was equally direct when asked about the qualities she looks for in a man. For Martins, generosity is a major attraction, and she emphasised the importance of having a partner who is willing to give and support others. “A giver, be a giver, continue to be a giver and never stop being a giver,” she said. “Every giver has a very special place in my heart and every giver is specially created by God.”
