MR QUARCOO DONATES FOODSTUFF AND OTHER ITMES TO AN ORPHANAGE HOME

A US-based Ghanaian philanthropist, Mr Samuel Quansah Quarcoo and friends have donated items worth thousands of dollars to GHANA MAKE A DIFFERENT ORPHANAGE HOME in the Central Region of Ghana. Some of the items donated were, bags of rice, cooking oils, a sewing machine, books and many more.

Speaking at the presentation ceremony, Mr Samuel Quansah Quarcoo said the donation was his way of showing love to the children at the Orphanage, and also to help ease the burden on those managing the Orphanage home. He added that he wanted to inculcate into the children the act of kindness so that when the Lord blessed them with enough, they can also follow in his footsteps and support the underprivileged.

The philanthropist who has been embarking on such charity works for some years now said he found fulfilment in giving back to society to improve the plight of the vulnerable and the underprivileged. “I love to give back to society, especially to the needy because that is what gives me fulfilment,” he said.

Receiving the items on behalf of GHANA MAKE A DIFFERENT ORPHANAGE HOME, Mr Patrick said the items have come in at the right time since the home has run out of foodstuffs at the time and they were wondering where their next meal will be coming from.

Mr Patrick also said the sewing machines have also come at the right time because some of the children at the Orphanage home are embarking on dressmaking training and will need the machines to make the training easy for them.

Mr Patrick later thanked Mr Samuel Quansah Quarcoo and his friends on behalf of GHANA MAKE A DIFFERENT ORPHANAGE HOME  and the children for coming to their aid and prayed that the Lord will continue to bless them so that they can continue to come to their aid. He also took Mr Samuel Quansah Quarcoo and his team around the Orphanage Home to show them the different departments and classrooms and their fish farming project ongoing at their compound.

Mr Quarcoo expressed profound gratitude to his well-wishers in the US who had been supporting his philanthropic work.
