Lawrence Ati-Zigi has been assigned the number 1 jersey, while captain Jordan Ayew retains his iconic number 9 shirt for Ghana at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Brandon Thomas-Asante will wear number 10, with Antoine Semenyo taking number 11. In goal, Joseph Anang of St Patrick’s Athletic has been handed number 12, and Hearts of Oak’s Benjamin Asare will don number 16. Cyprus-based defender Derrick Luckassen, drafted in to replace the injured Alexander Djiku, will wear number 23.
Midfield anchor Thomas Partey keeps his traditional number 5, while Gideon Mensah, Kwasi Sibo, Caleb Yirenkyi, and Baba Abdul Rahman will line up in jerseys 14, 8, 3, and 17, respectively. Ghana opens its Group L campaign against Panama on June 17 in Toronto, before facing England in Boston on June 23 and Croatia in Philadelphia on June 27.
