President John Dramani Mahama has appointed Jones Borteye Applerh, a former Executive Secretary of the Small Arms Commission, as the acting Chief Executive Officer of GIHOC Distilleries. His appointment is subject to receiving the constitutionally required advice from the Governing Board, in consultation with the Public Services Commission.
Mr Applerh’s appointment takes effect from January 21, 2025. In a statement issued by the Executive Secretary to the President, Dr Callistus Mahma, the president extended his congratulations to Mr Appplerh.
