Fanyogo is back as the taste and texture problem rectified – CEO

The West Africa Chief Executive Officer for FanMilk, Yeo Ziobeieton has said the challenges that Fanyogo product was facing have been rectified. Some three months there were issues with Fanyogo; it was as if the water and the concentrate had separated in the pack.

“Even the taste is off. Something is not right,” host of Morning Starr on StarrFM, Francis Abban wrote on his Facebook. However, the challenge has been fixed. In an interview with Francis Abban, the West Africa boss for FanMilk explained that the company has established the challenges and fixed them. According to him, it is a human business they have retrained themselves in handling the specific challenge that occurred.

He further indicated that the company has to change their supplier on the issue of starch and is now engaging a world-class company.  “We are very clear that we are here to serve humanity, serve the people of Ghana, that’s the number one priority. We encourage all the consumers to do what you did, when you see a deviation you must call our attention. Because we are not everywhere and knowing what is right helps us to continue to improve.

“With every product, there is a way to go about it, the products are frozen and they are supposed to be kept in the freezers. So I will want to encourage the Ghanaian consumers that for you to enjoy the freshness of your fanyogo and get the nutritional benefit you have to store it in a freezer,” the CEO advised.

Mr. Ziobeieton stated that the doors of the company are always open and consumers can get to them with their complaints through their staff and dedicated helplines.
