President John Dramani Mahama will host a Presidential Media Encounter at The Presidency on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, starting at 8:00 p.m. According to a statement issued by Felix Kwakye Ofosu, the President’s spokesperson, on Monday, September 8, 2025, the event will provide a platform for President Mahama to engage directly with Ghanaians through the media on pressing national issues. The session will also highlight the government’s “Resetting Ghana Agenda” and discuss various policies and ongoing projects aimed at driving national development.
Journalists from across the country are expected to attend and will have the opportunity to ask the President direct questions on a wide range of subjects affecting the nation. The Presidency emphasised that participation will be strictly by accreditation, underscoring the need for order and coordination during this high-profile engagement. “The Presidency looks forward to a productive and engaging session with the media,” the statement concluded.
This will be one of President Mahama’s major interactions with the press since assuming office, and it is expected to generate national interest given the critical issues currently shaping Ghana’s political and economic landscape.
