Four Police Officers has been interdicted for assaulting suspects

The Police service has interdicted four Police officers in the Northern region for unprofessional conduct.

According to a statement by the service, the officers allegedly assaulted some individuals whom they had been dispatched to arrest for power theft in Tamale.

It comes in the string of recent Police actions against rogue officers. The acting Inspector-General George Akuffo Dampare has been widely commended for working to enhance the relationship between the police and citizenry.
