DVLA Extends Working Hours at 15 Offices to 10 pm

The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) has rolled out extended working hours at selected branches across the country to enhance accessibility and convenience for the public. In a Facebook post on Thursday, May 14, the Authority announced that these offices will now operate from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, giving motorists more time to complete essential services such as vehicle registration, licensing, and renewals.

According to the DVLA, the new schedule is intended to ease congestion at busy centres, particularly in major cities where demand remains high. The initiative covers several regional capitals and key districts, including the Prestige Centre Head Office, Nahrman Office, and Weija Office in Accra, as well as branches in Tema, Kumasi, and Tarkwa.

Other participating offices are located in Bolgatanga, Wa, Tamale, Takoradi, Cape Coast, Koforidua, Sunyani, Ho, Techiman, and Winneba. The Authority believes the longer operating hours will significantly improve customer experience while reducing pressure on its facilities nationwide.
