The Minority in Parliament has dismissed President John Dramani Mahama’s claim that he resolved the issue of erratic power supply, commonly referred to as “Dumsor.” During a press conference in Parliament on Monday, March 3, which was held to respond to the State of the Nation Address delivered by President Mahama on Thursday, March 27, former Finance Minister Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam criticized the President’s record regarding the management of the power situation, stating that it has been inadequate.
Unlike President Mahama, former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo kept the lights on, Dr Amin Adam added. The Karaga lawmaker said “You did not fix dumsor. Your record on dumsor is abysmal, unlike your predecessor who kept the lights on.” He further charged the Mahama administration to publish a shedding management timetable due to the unstable power supply. being experienced in the part of the country currently.
“Publish a load-shedding timetable to assist businesses,” he stated. President John Dramani Mahama asserted that he resolved Ghana’s power crisis, known as ‘dumsor,’ before leaving office in 2017. “Yes, I promised to fix it, and I did!
