Eid-Ul-Fitr, also known as the “Festival of Breaking the Fast,” is an important Islamic holiday celebrated by Muslims worldwide. It marks the end of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of fasting, prayer, and spiritual reflection. The occasion is observed with prayers, feasting, acts of charity, and gatherings with family and friends. In Ghana, Eid-Ul-Fitr is widely celebrated by the Muslim community and is recognised as a public holiday.
Meanwhile, the Embassy clarified that it will remain operational on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, and visa interviews scheduled for that day will proceed as planned.
