Yes, they are friends, we love them, you share everything about your lives however, there is a limit to everything. Confidentiality is important no matter how close-knit you are. So here are a few topics that must not be discussed or revealed to your friends about your relationship.
Financial standing
This is a topic which anyway should not be discussed in detail. It is a sensitive issue and when another person is involved, you have no business telling about it to anyone. Just work it out together, seek advice from people who are not close to you and be very smart with your words.
Whatever your partner does not know
It is not wise to discuss matters about your partner or something at home that you have not discussed even with your own partner. This also includes your partner’s shortcomings. Those should not be used as a basis of comedy between friends or folks. If something has been bothering you, discuss it between you two first. It should not come as a surprise to either of you.
The private pictures
Never ever share private pictures that you two took, for private viewing, with others. Especially nude pictures, certain tattoos, or anything juicy for others to discuss. It is your private matter, keep it to yourselves.
His/her past
What he or she did in her past is something they told you because you are the partner. It does not entitle you to share it with anyone else at all. Do not betray the trust.
Sex life
What you do behind closed doors, under the sheets, is a very private subject. Your partner has exposed his or her vulnerable side to you, trusted you enough so why tom tom about it to the world?
