Citi News has confirmed that President John Dramani Mahama has appointed broadcast journalist Bridget Otoo as a staff member in the Office of the President. Bridget Otoo is a well-known Ghanaian freelance journalist and media personality, recognized for her compelling presence on television and her courageous stance on social issues.

She has established herself as a vocal and influential figure in Ghana’s media landscape. Otoo is also actively involved in various forms of activism, particularly advocating for social and political causes. A notable instance of her activism was her participation in the “Occupy Julorbi House” protests in Accra on September 21, 2023.
