Ghana’s Ambassador to the United States, Victor Smith, has expressed strong support for President John Dramani Mahama’s vision, describing it as a transformative agenda for the country. In an interview with Umaru Sanda Amadu on Channel One TV’s “Face to Face” on September 23, Ambassador Smith stated that the Mahama-led administration is committed to delivering results that will impress Ghanaians and earn international recognition. “For now, we want to impress the people of Ghana.
With this current administration, we aim to achieve remarkable things for Ghana and for the world to see us in that light,” he said. He emphasised that President Mahama’s vision goes beyond mere rhetoric and is supported by the dedication of his appointees. “President Mahama has a wonderful vision; it’s not just talk. We are determined, some of us are committed to ensuring that we realize the vision he has set out for Ghana,” he remarked.
The Ambassador’s remarks come as the government continues to advance its development initiatives under the “Big Push” agenda and other key programmes targeting infrastructure, education, and economic growth.
