Mahama nominates 71 persons for appointment as DCEs

President John Dramani Mahama in accordance with Article 243 (1) of the 1992 Constitution and 20 (1) of the Local Governance Act, 2016 (Act 936) has nominated some persons for appointment to the office of District Chief Executives, pending approval by respective Assemblies. President John Dramani Mahama in accordance with Article 243 (1) of the 1992 Constitution and 20 (1) of the Local Governance Act, 2016 (Act 936) has nominated some persons for appointment to the office of District Chief Executives, pending approval by respective Assemblies.

This was announced in a letter dated March 26, 2025 and signed by Secretary to the President, Dr. Callistus Mahama.
