Joselyn Dumas appointed deputy director for Diaspora Affairs

Actress and media personality Joselyn Dumas has been appointed as the Deputy Director for Diaspora Affairs. In this role, she will assist KOD, who was appointed as the Director last week. This appointment comes under President John Dramani Mahama’s administration.

Her new role will see her assisting Kofi Okyere-Darko (KOD) who was appointed as the Director of Diaspora Affairs last week. KOD’s appointment was confirmed by Obuobia Darko-Opoku in a Facebook post on February 26, 2025. Joselyn Dumas’ appointment further reinforces the government’s commitment to strengthening ties with the Ghanaian diaspora, fostering investment, and promoting cultural and economic collaboration.

With her extensive experience in media, entertainment, and advocacy, she is expected to play a key role in engaging the diaspora community and driving initiatives that benefit both Ghanaians abroad and the country.
