GoFundMe campaign launched to cover Kofi Adomah’s eye surgery cost

A fundraising campaign has been launched on GoFundMe to support media personality and CEO of Kofi TV and Radio, Kofi Adomah Nwanwani. He suffered severe eye damage after being shot in the face during a tragic incident at the Dormaa Kwafie Festival. This devastating event, which disrupted the festive atmosphere of the Dormaa Kwafie Festival, has left the popular journalist facing a long and challenging road to recovery, including multiple surgeries to restore his vision.

Although Ghanaian philanthropist Ibrahim Mahama has generously offered to cover Kofi’s medical expenses through his foundation, the GoFundMe campaign seeks to provide additional financial support, alleviating the burden on Kofi and his family during this difficult time. In January, news of Kofi Adomah being shot in the eye was shared by media personality, Afia Pokuaa, sparking widespread concern. She wrote, “Yesu, Kofi, I’m praying for your full recovery and healing. I’ve been panicking since hearing the news that you were shot in the eye. May the Lord work overtime on you,” accompanied by a photo of Kofi Adomah.
