A microlight aircraft crashed in Tema on Monday, as confirmed by the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA). The aircraft, registered as 9GADV, was flying from Ho to Accra and last made radio contact at 14:18 GMT, shortly before its scheduled arrival in Accra at 15:20 GMT.
There were two people on board at the time of the crash. The GCAA stated that investigations are ongoing, and additional details will be released as they become available. Authorities and emergency services quickly responded to the scene in Tema to secure the area and assist those involved.
