Ga Mantse discharged from UGMC after Oti road accident

The Ga Mantse, King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, has been discharged from the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) after sustaining injuries in a road accident in the Oti Region. The incident occurred while the monarch was returning to Accra from a private visit to Yaa Naa in Tamale, part of ongoing efforts to foster unity and mutual respect among traditional authorities.

Medical officials have confirmed that the Ga Mantse is in stable condition and fit to resume his responsibilities. The accident, which drew nationwide attention, has reignited discussions on road safety for public figures and traditional leaders travelling across the country. The Ga Mantse is expected to resume his official engagements in Accra in the coming days.
