Agradaa convicted of deceptive advertisement and defrauding by false pretence

Chief priestess turned evangelist Patricia Asiedua Asiamah, widely known as Nana Agradaa, has been convicted by the Circuit Court in Accra for engaging in fraudulent advertising and defrauding individuals under false pretenses. The charges arise from a televised advertisement she aired in 2022, in which she claimed to have the ability to double people’s money. This false claim resulted in numerous individuals parting with significant sums of money.

Details on sentencing and further court directives are expected to follow. However, in line with sentencing guidelines, Nana Agradaa has been taken to the hospital for a pregnancy test before the Judge will sentence her.
