A teenager named Nana Zinabu, believed to be between 18 and 19 years old, was found dead in her bedroom in Twifo Praso, located in the Twifo Atti Morkwa district of the Central Region. An eyewitness, who lived in the same house as the victim, discovered the body after waking up at dawn, around 4:30 a.m., to prepare food for sale. Three used condoms were found at the scene.
An eyewitness reported that she noticed Nana Zinabu’s door was unusually open. Upon entering, she found Nana lying naked. The eyewitness observed that the victim’s mouth had been sealed with a substance resembling super glue. Nearby, there were apples and three used condoms. The eyewitness then shouted for help, and those who arrived at the scene reported the incident to the Praso Police Station. This event has caused considerable fear and panic among the residents of Praso, especially since Nana Zinabu was expected to graduate from her sewing apprenticeship this year.
The body has been deposited at the Twifo Atti Morkwa District Hospital for further examination. Meanwhile, the Twifo Atti-Morkwa District Commander, Superintendent Charles Addei Boateng had assured the public that an investigation had begun and those involved would be brought to justice.
