Roadblocks, diversions as part of police special operation in some parts of Accra

The Ghana Police Service says some major roads in the Greater Accra Region will be blocked as part of their operations from 21st to 24th September 2024. In a statement, the Police explained that Traffic from CBD to Independence Avenue linking up to the Liberation Road would be blocked at AU Roundabout.

We urge pedestrians to avoid using the stretch from the AU Roundabout to 37 Roundabout. Alternative arrangements would be made for persons accessing the 37 Military Hospital, TV3 and individuals accessing their homes in the affected enclave during the period,” the police administration indicated.
