Relations between Russia and Ghana are traditionally of a friendly nature – Putin

President of Russia, Vladimir Putin has in his congratulatory message to Ghana on the occasion of the 65th Independence Day celebration on Sunday, March 6 said that the relations between his country and Ghana are traditionally of a friendly nature.

Mr Putin said in the message published on the official Twitter handle of the Russian Embassy in Accra that “The relations between Russia and Ghana are traditionally of a friendly nature.

He added that the “bilateral dialogue and partnership meets the interests of our people, contributing to the peace and security on the African continent.”

“I wish you good health and every success, as well as happiness and prosperity to all your compatriots,” the statement added.
