NPP is looting Ghana as if there’s no tomorrow – Kennedy Agyapong alleges

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Presidential hopeful, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has described the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) government as the real “loot and share” people. The Assin Central Member of Parliament made the allegation while addressing some businessmen at True Vin Hotel in Kumasi on Saturday 31st September 2023.

The lawmaker described the government as not thinking about the economic growth of the country but rather focusing on looting the state to become rich overnight. He said “The ruling government which won the election 2016 with about 1 million votes with the support of the business community is looting the country as if there’s no tomorrow. They steal Ghana’s money and deposit it abroad. I will put my life on the line to save this country from this looting brigade.”

Thousands of NPP sympathizers and delegates in the Ashanti region over the weekend held a massive health walk dubbed the “Showdown walk” in Kumasi. Patrons of the walk who are mostly fans of Kennedy Agyapong used the walk to demonstrate the commitment to the vision of the parliament Defense Committee member ahead of the party’s 4th November 2023 election.
