Near explosion quelled at Asokwa Industrial Area

A large plume of smoke could be seen above a fuel tanker at Kaase in the Asokwa Industrial Area of the Ashanti Region as firefighters on Friday afternoon battled to quell a near explosion.

It is unclear what caused the incident but already wooden structures have been destroyed.
