A generous philanthropist by the name of Samuel Quansah Quarcoo, together with some friends, recently donated numerous items worth thousands of dollars to Emmaus Methodist School Complex located at Awoshie last stop, and Bishop Gilrs in Accra. The donations included shoes, school bags, textbooks, notebooks, cooking utensils, pens, pencils, toothbrushes and toothpaste, liquid soaps, sanitisers, and many other useful items.
During the presentation ceremony in Accra, Mr. Quarcoo said, the initiative was inspired by his love for charity and his desire to help those who are less fortunate He emphasized that he wished to instil kindness in children so that they may give back to support those in need when the Lord blesses them in the future. The philanthropist has been undertaking charitable works for several years and finds fulfilment in helping the vulnerable and underprivileged. He hopes that his contribution will encourage the students to study well and succeed in their education.
