GMET issues thunderstorm alert for Accra, Kasoa, Cape Coast, others

The Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMet) has observed a thunderstorm and rain expected to prevail over the country this morning from the northern sector to the middle sector. Areas within the southern half will be hit by rainfall especially areas along the coastline.

Aflao, Accra, Kasoa, Cape Coast, Takoradi, and Axim will experience rainfall this morning, the forecast projected. “The southern half of the country is expected to experience thunderstorm and rain this afternoon into the evening as the northern half remain mostly cloudy in the day followed by thunderstorm and rain in the evening.” This is according to the forecast released 5:00 am Monday, September 26, 2022.
