Unknown gunmen have reportedly attacked Ghanaian journalist Stephen Kofi Adomah, resulting in him sustaining gunshot wounds. He is currently recovering from an accidental gunshot wound to the eye. The incident took place during a ceremony he was attending, where gunshots were fired. The exact timing of the shooting is still unclear.
OnuaOnline’s checks indicate that the Chief Executive Officer of Kofi TV has been flown to India for treatment. Colleague journalist and friend to Kofi, Afia Pokuaa Vim Lady in a Facebook post on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, prayed for God’s healing for the Broadcast Journalist.
Afia Pokuaa wrote: “Yesu, Kofi, I’m praying for your full recovery and healing. Kofi Adomah, I have been panicking since hearing the news that you were shot in the eye. May the Lord work overtime for you.” On January 14, 2025, Kofi Adomah posted on his Facebook page: “It is well with my soul,” without providing many details about what happened to him. Ghanaians have since been wishing Kofi a speedy recovery and invoking God’s protection in the comments section of Afia Pokua’s post on Facebook. 3News will follow up and provide updates to the public as new developments arise.
