GAF Opens 2026/2027 Enlistment on September 3 for Graduates, Professionals

The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) has officially launched its 2026/2027 enlistment exercise for degree holders and professionals seeking entry as commissioned officers. Detailed entry requirements and category breakdowns have been published on the GAF’s official Facebook page.

Application vouchers, priced at GH¢200.00, will be available at designated Ghana Post Offices nationwide beginning Thursday, September 3, 2026. The online recruitment portal (https://apply.mil.gh) goes live on Friday, September 4, 2026, enabling applicants to complete and submit their forms. The deadline for online submissions is Wednesday, September 23, 2026.

In a press release signed by Captain (Ghana Navy) Veronica Adzo Arhin, Acting Director General of Public Relations, the military cautioned the public against recruitment scams. The statement stressed that the GAF does not employ agents or middlemen and charges no fees beyond the official voucher cost. Applicants are encouraged to report suspicious activities via telephone at 0256 405 104 or WhatsApp at 0256 405 154.
