Asantehene to conclude Bawku conflict mediation session on December 1, 2025

The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, has organised a two-day meeting on November 30 and December 1, 2025, to conclude the mediation session regarding the Bawku chieftaincy conflict. This information was included in a statement issued by the Manhyia Palace on November 10, 2025, and signed by the Chief of Staff, Kofi Badu.

In the statement, the Asantehene commended both parties for their constructive approach to the mediation process thus far and urged all involved to refrain from any actions that could undermine progress toward a lasting solution to the Bawku conflict.
