President John Dramani Mahama is scheduled to embark on a nationwide tour of all 16 regions, starting on Wednesday, March 18, 2026. The purpose of the tour is to assess ongoing government projects and engage directly with citizens. According to the Presidency Communications Office, the tour will begin in the Bono Region from March 18 to March 19, 2026, after which it will continue to other regions across the country.
The office stated that this visit will give the president the opportunity to inspect developmental projects and interact with traditional leaders and residents, allowing him to gather feedback on government policies and initiatives.
The nationwide engagement forms part of broader government efforts to strengthen accountability and ensure that projects deliver the intended benefits at the community level. The Presidency noted that the tour will also allow President Mahama to directly hear concerns from citizens and assess the impact of ongoing initiatives across sectors.
