Kwesi Amoako Atta

The Minister for Roads and Highways, Kwasi Amoako-Atta, says the second term of the Nana Addo government will finish 20 trades cross country before the finish of 2024.

This will be out of the 25 exchanges expected to be developed by the Akufo-Addo and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) organization.

“Imprint me down, by 2024, 20 exchanges will probably be finished”, Mr Amoako-Atta declared at a media commitment on Sunday, May 23, 2021.

As indicated by the Minister, the drive when finished and accomplished, will be an exceptional accomplishment in the country’s political history.

“Before our second’s over the term, 20 exchanges in our nation would have been fabricated, we have assessed 25, yet we are persuaded and sure, and we understand what we are about… in light of the fact that we have modified whatever we are doing, and we would have had around 25 trades in our country. This has never occurred in any organization since autonomy”, the Roads Minister guaranteed.

Meanwhile, the Pokuase Interchange in Accra is relied upon to be completely opened to deal with the main seven day stretch of July 2021.

The four-level exchange project was initially planned to be finished in October a year ago and later changed to March this year.

The Minister said President Akufo-Addo is required to commission the task to help ease gridlock on the Accra-Nsawam Highway.
