A combined team of National Security operatives and police officers has stormed the residence of Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, who is the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP). The operation is currently ongoing, with security personnel surrounding the premises.
The reasons for the raid remain unclear, and it has not yet been confirmed whether Chairman Wontumi is inside the house.
