Heavy Traffic on Anyinam stretch of Accra-Kumasi road after a fuel tanker caught fire

There is heavy traffic on the Anyinam stretch of the Accra-Kumasi highway after a fuel tanker caught fire Monday (Today) afternoon. The incident occurred around the Paradise Rest Stop.

An eyewitness who spoke to Agoo News says Fire Service Officers are struggling to put the situation under control due to the nature of the fire.

The incident which happened in the middle of the road has caused gridlock resulting in a long queue of cars on both ends of the highway.
