Former vice president Bawumia performs Umrah in Mecca

Former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has arrived in Mecca with his wife, Hajia Samira Bawumia, and an entourage to perform Umrah, an Islamic pilgrimage to the holy city. During their visit, they expressed gratitude to Allah for the opportunity to undertake this spiritual journey.

Dr. Bawumia shared that the journey is an expression of gratitude to Almighty Allah for His grace and blessings. Together with his wife and close friends, the pilgrimage also provided an opportunity to pray for continued guidance and protection for themselves and the nation of Ghana. This spiritual exercise reflects Dr. Bawumia’s deep faith and commitment to seeking divine favour for the country as it navigates its path forward.
