The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has issued a public notice cautioning against 23 entities operating on social media and online platforms that are promoting unlicensed investment products in Ghana. In its July 22, 2026 statement, the Commission stressed that none of the listed entities are licensed to conduct capital market activities under Section 3 of the Securities Industry Act, 2016 (Act 929), as amended.
The entities named include AfriHub, BG Wealth, BP Investment, Creative Walker Promotion Company (CWPC), Dallmayr, Expert (Expect) Option, GAIP Securities Learning & Exchange Group, Ghana Vest, Harvest Fund, Infarms/Secure Farm, Kukafor Platform, Mazzuma, Medisyne Trade, NIO Platform, Profit Rise Invest, QuantVest Stock Exchange (QVSE), QVES, QX Broker/Qumatix, Smart Gain, Yepbit Trading, ZEC ZEC FX, Bonchat, and Ultima Cryptocurrency Group.
The SEC noted it is working with law enforcement agencies to clamp down on the individuals behind these schemes. It urged the public to remain vigilant and avoid investing in unlicensed products.
