Bawumia Offers Life-Transforming Ideas Ghana Needs – Oppong Nkrumah

Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, Member of Parliament for Ofoase Ayirebi, has urged delegates of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to throw their full support behind Dr Mahamudu Bawumia as the party’s flagbearer for the 2028 general elections. He emphasised that Dr Bawumia offers innovative and transformative ideas crucial to Ghana’s progress at this pivotal stage of development, positioning him as the ideal candidate to lead the party.

In a video circulating on social media, Mr. Oppong Nkrumah described the former Vice President as a credible and formidable contender with the capacity to secure broad national backing. He underscored Dr Bawumia’s character and electoral appeal, noting that the NPP must present a candidate whose vision resonates with voters across the country. “He is winnable and of good character. As a political party, we need his ideas to be so compelling that they deliver us victory,” he remarked.

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is on a nationwide tour to rally support from New Patriotic Party (NPP) delegates ahead of the party’s flagbearer election slated for January 31. Following his recent engagements in the Ashanti Region, he shared on Facebook that he had received strong endorsements from delegates across constituencies such as Ejura-Sekyedumase, Mampong, Nsuta-Kwamang-Beposo, and Afigya Kwabre North. “Our journey to victory continued yesterday in Ejura-Sekyedumase, Mampong, Nsuta-Kwamang-Beposo and Afigya Kwabre North constituencies,” he wrote, expressing appreciation for what he described as overwhelming support from party members.
