The Minister of Communications, Sam George has cautioned that telecommunications companies who fail to implement the new changes in data packages will face sanctions. The Minister has announced new changes in data packages, a 10% increase in data bundles which will take effect from July 1, 2025. The regulator, the NCA will ensure they monitor strict implementation of this directive on the 1st of July. Where failure is applied, sanction is applied,” he stated.
