The National Identification Authority (NIA) has announced new fee increases across several of its services, explaining that the adjustment is necessary to sustain and improve service delivery. In a statement shared on its official Facebook page on Wednesday, January 22, the Authority noted that the revised charges will apply to first-time registrations, updates to personal information, replacement of Ghana Cards, nationality amendments, and non-citizen card registrations.
The NIA encouraged the public to take note of these changes, emphasising that the revisions are aimed at ensuring the long-term efficiency and sustainability of its operations
