Global InfoAnalytics’ final poll shows former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia leading the New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential race. He tops the field ahead of former Assin Central MP Kennedy Agyapong, who secured 28 percent. Dr. Bryan Acheampong followed with 13 percent, while Dr. Osei Yaw Adutwum garnered two percent. Engineer Kwabena Agyepong registered no support in the poll.
Global InfoAnalytics conducted its prediction for the NPP 2026 Presidential Primaries between January 20 and 23, 2026, drawing on a nationwide sample of 10,133 respondents. The survey spanned all 16 regions and 272 constituencies, employing random probability sampling to ensure broad representativeness.
It was carried out at a 99.9 percent confidence level, with a margin of error of ±1.57 percent, while the predictive model used in the analysis carries a margin of error of ±3.0 percent.
In the lead-up to the contest, all aspirants signed a peace pact on January 22, affirming their commitment to a credible and peaceful electoral process. The NPP presidential primary is set for January 31, 2026, and will decide the party’s flagbearer for the forthcoming general election.
