The Ghana Education Service (GES) has issued a warning to the public about a fraudulent recruitment letter currently circulating on social media. The fake document falsely claims that financial clearance has been granted for the recruitment of 50,000 teaching and non-teaching staff. In a press release dated September 21, 2025, signed by the Head of Public Relations, Daniel Fenyi, the GES stated that the letter is “FAKE and did not originate from GES.”
Management confirmed that no such recruitment exercise has been announced. The GES emphasised that when an official recruitment process does begin, it will be communicated exclusively through the official channels of the Service and the Ministry of Education. The public is strongly advised to disregard this counterfeit letter and report any related fraudulent activities to the authorities.
