Dr. Kwaku Adu Boahene, a senior figure in Kennedy Agyapong’s campaign team, has dismissed the final Global InfoAnalytics poll ahead of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential primary as “cooked,” raising doubts about its methodology and credibility. The survey, conducted between December 29, 2025, and January 23, 2026, sampled 10,133 respondents across all 16 regions and 272 constituencies using random probability sampling.
The poll results place former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the lead with 57 percent, followed by Kennedy Agyapong at 28 percent. Dr. Bryan Acheampong and others trailed further behind. Speaking on Channel One Newsroom on Friday, January 23, Dr. Adu Boahene insisted the figures fail to reflect the actual situation on the ground.
He claimed that the research process was flawed and accused Executive Director and Head of Research at Global InfoAnalytics, Mussa Dankwah and his team of “cooking” figures and producing results from the comfort of their offices in Accra without proper verification.
Dr. Adu Boahene stressed that credible research must align its methodology, model description, and results. He argued that the final polls released by Mussa Dankwah lack consistency, dismissing them as fabricated. “I’ll be blunt—this is nothing more than a cooked-up story. You cannot sit in an office in Accra and churn out polls without a clear methodology. Claiming a margin of error of just 1% from a sample of 10,000 respondents is simply not credible in any serious research,” he stated.
He further emphasised that Kennedy Agyapong’s campaign team remains focused on direct engagement with delegates and showcasing the candidate’s track record. With the NPP presidential primaries scheduled for January 31, polling and predictions continue to stir debate among delegates, party officials, and the wider political community.
