Kwasi Kyei Darkwah, widely recognised as KKD and renowned for his contributions to the media industry, has been named Ghana’s Special Envoy to the Caribbean Region. This appointment comes at a pivotal moment as Ghana aims to bolster its global presence and strengthen bilateral relationships with Caribbean nations.
In his new role, KKD will be instrumental in advancing diplomatic, cultural, and economic partnerships between Ghana and the Caribbean regions united by profound historical, cultural, and ancestral bonds. His responsibilities extend to countries such as Cuba, Haiti, the Dominican Republic, Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, and others.
The role is central to Ghana’s broader foreign policy drive, which includes expanding trade and investment opportunities, promoting Ghanaian culture globally, and engaging Caribbean partners on shared development challenges.
