The University of Ghana has suspended 14 students for two academic years due to acts of disorderly conduct and violations of institutional regulations. In a statement released on Monday, the university explained that these sanctions followed investigations by its Disciplinary Committee into various incidents of student misconduct. The affected students are prohibited from participating in all academic and extracurricular activities during the suspension period.
In a related matter, the university has also taken disciplinary action against 97 students found guilty of examination malpractices. These sanctions were imposed after formal hearings confirmed violations of exam protocols. Additionally, two students received official reprimands for conduct deemed inappropriate according to university standards. The university reiterated its commitment to maintaining discipline and academic integrity within the institution.
