Don’t indulge in blame games – Bawumia to NPP members

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the 2024 flag bearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has urged party members to avoid engaging in blame games. Instead, he encourages them to unite and remain optimistic about the future. Speaking to members from the Klottey Korle and Ayawaso East constituencies in the Greater Accra region on Tuesday morning at his residence, Dr. Bawumia emphasized that the statistics clearly indicate that the NPP essentially handed victory to the NDC.

The members from Klottey Korle and Ayawaso East were at the residence of the Vice-President to solidarise with him. The members of the party were in very high spirits as they sang and blew vuvuzela to charge the atmosphere. Members of the NPP from the Trobu and Weija-Gbawe constituencies also visited later.

Dr Bawumia, therefore, urged members of the party to remain optimistic saying he would continue to look up to God because whatever happened were his ways. He thanked the members for their support and asked them to stay put for the task ahead.

The NPP Parliamentary Candidate for Klottey Korle constituency, Valentino Nii Noi Nortey, on behalf of the constituents also urged them not to be broken even though, “we didn’t get what we wanted.” “I still believe everything is possible,” he added.

“We believe in your policies and we will continue to support you. We are there for you,” Nii Nortey assured. Nii Nortey also congratulated Dr Bawumia for what he achieved during the recent elections saying the NDC did not perform better than the NPP “but our party people did not help.”

He said the Vice-President gave his all during the elections.
