Al Ittihad had a £150m bid to sign Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah rejected on deadline day, but are prepared to go to £200m, says Sky Sports. Salah, 31, is reportedly interested in a move to Saudi Arabia but Liverpool are not willing to part ways with the Egypt international without being able to bring in a replacement now the window is closed. However, the Saudi window is open until Sept. 20 and a £200m offer may be too good to turn down.
Liverpool have seen three of their players from last season make the switch to Saudi Arabia this summer, with the midfield duo of Jordan Henderson and Fabinho joining Al Ettifaq and Al Ittihad, respectively, and Roberto Firmino joining Al Ahli following the expiration of his contract at Anfield.
