Kurt Okraku Gfa Boss

Ghana defender, Montari Kamaheni has called on stakeholders of Ghana football to remain patient with GFA President, Kurt Okraku, adding that “Even God did not use one day to create the earth”. The 52-year-old has been under intense scrutiny in recent months over the failures of the national teams.

The low patronage in the Ghana Premier League has also been attributed to him. Kamaheni, who plays as a left-back for Ashdod in Israel, describes Kurt as a visionary person and the right man to lead the association.

“The brain that he [Kurt] has is more. He sees far, beyond what people are talking [about]. Patience is everything,” the defender told JoySports.

“Everything is gradual. God did not use one day to create the earth, what about human beings? so it is all about patience. He is a hardworking man and he is doing the job. Kurt, whose mandate as the head of the football governing body ends in October, is expected to run for a second term.
