Armed robbers have shot another driver at Takoradi, after robbing his mistress at gunpoint.
The incident happened around the Anaji taxi rank at Ahenfie which is an area located near Amanful at Takoradi.
It occurred around 2 pm Monday, April 12.
Eyewitnesses said a woman was immediately attacked by two young men on a motorbike after stepping out from a shop where the robbers struggled with her for her bag.
Her driver upon seeing the situation decided to go to the rescue of her mistress but got shot by the drivers.
The robbers then started firing warning shots and sped off on their motorbike.
This brings to three, the shooting of innocent victims by armed robbers within the Sekondi Takoradi metropolis within a period of 4 days.
The first victim is a mobile money vendor who was shot on Friday evening and the second was a taxi driver who was shot after trying to rescue another mobile money vendor who was being robbed on Saturday evening.
