The Volta Regional Police Command has uncovered that 21 people – 16 females and 5 guys – suspected to be lesbians, gays, sexually unbiased, transsexual, strange and intersex (LGBTQI) were today Friday May 21 remanded into Police authority by the Ho Circuit Court for unlawful get together at the Nurses and Midwives Hotel, Ho. This follows the capture of the 21 at their alleged gathering at the Nurse and Midwives Hotel, Ho Thursday May 20, 2021.
Sergeant Prince Dogbatse, Public Affairs Officer of the Volta Regional Police Command said in an articulation that the suspects are from the Greater Accra, Ashanti, Upper East, Upper West, Western, Eastern, Northern and the Volta areas and were Advocating LGBTQI exercises.
