One captured in Cape Coast over grisly murdering of the headteacher

The Criminal Investigations Department at the Cape Coast Regional Police Command says it has captured one individual regarding the slaughtering of a headteacher, Yaw Eyifa Gorman.

Mr Gorman was shot dead promptly he left his vehicle subsequent to getting back from an enumeration preparing a workshop on Saturday, May 22, 2021.

An onlooker, Steven Essoun, who portrayed the occurrence to Citi News said the culprit didn’t burgle a single thing from the expired.

“It occurred around 7:45 pm when everybody was in their room. We heard the sound of his vehicle when he showed up, and quickly we heard some uncommon boisterous sound. We thought it was a blasted tire or a knockout. At that point, we heard individuals yelling for help”. Steven Essoun said inhabitants emerged from their homes just to track down the expired sitting in his vehicle oblivious with slug wounds to his head.

The headteacher was then hurried to the medical clinic where he was articulated dead on appearance.

As indicated by police, the suspect at present in their guardianship is aiding examinations. “Police insight has prompted the capture of one suspect corresponding to the above murder case. The suspect is in guardianship helping with examinations. Subtleties will follow,” a police notice said.

Data about the said suspect is yet to be unveiled.
