The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has confirmed 18 new cases of Mpox, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 346. The death toll remains at one, with no additional fatalities reported, and currently, no patients are hospitalised.

In its previous update on August 7, 2025, the GHS urged the public to stay vigilant, avoid close contact with individuals displaying symptoms, and promptly report any suspected cases to the nearest health facility. The GHS is working closely with its regional directorates to trace contacts and enhance the coordinated response to the outbreak.
